ARDMORE, OK -- An Ardmore man is in critical condition after being hit by a train Tuesday evening.
Ardmore police say around 11 p.m. Tuesday evening 59-year-old Lani Marris of Ardmore was walking across the tracks near the 3rd SE train crossing when he was struck by a train. Police say Marris may have been intoxicated at the time.
Marris suffered severe injuries to the leg and face and remains in critical condition. He was taken from Mercy Hospital to OU Medical Center.
Authorities are investigating at this time.
