ARDMORE, OK - Ardmore Police are warning the public someone is making prank calls and impersonating an officer.
They said the suspects are using a common phone application that disguises your caller ID and shows a number you program into the "app".
Police said the suspects are using APD's non-emergency number, (580) 223-1212, pretending to be authorities.
They said if you have get a questionable from phone call from someone claiming to be an Ardmore Police Officer hang up and call the Ardmore police department.
