DENISON, TX -- Dozens of area women shopped for a good cause Tuesday night at a "31 Party".

They showed up to Reba's Ranch House in Denison to support "500 Strong" a breast cancer support group through the Texoma Health Foundation. Tuesday night "31 Independent" purses were sold to raise money for the campaign.

"You know fighting breast cancer is a very expensive thing so anyway we can help them pay for their medical expenses that's what we try to do." Blair Ford with 31 Independent said.

"500 Strong" uses donations to pay for medical care for local breast cancer patients and survivors.
