Paris hardware store robbed at gunpoint

PARIS, TX -- Police are looking for a man they say robbed a local hardware store at gunpoint over the weekend.

Police say around 4 p.m. Saturday, a man entered Swaim's Hardware in the 200 block of Southwest 1st Street. He asked to see two handguns and while the store employee went to reach for the second one, the man pulled out a gun and ordered the employee to get on the ground.

He is described as a black man, around six foot tall and about 150-pounds and was last seen wearing a yellow hat and a brown jacket

The man got away with two handguns. If you have any information contact Paris Police.
