ATOKA COUNTY, OK -- A manhunt in Atoka County ended Sunday afternoon with the suspect behind bars.
28-year-old Donnie Ray Dunkin is facing multiple charges including resisting arrest.
Deputy Jason Smith says just after 11 o'clock he made a traffic stop at Highway 3 and Forrest Hill Rd. Smith says he noticed Dunkin, who was wanted on multiple felony warrants, in the passenger seat of the vehicle. Smith says when he attempted to apprehend Dunkin he fled into a wooded area. Multiple agencies were called to assist in the manhunt. Smith says around 12:15 p.m. they found Dunkin hiding near Ridge Wood Rd. and Gin Rd. He was arrested and taken into custody.
