Roads will remain treacherous from snow and sleet until mid-day, when sunshine shroud melt most of it away. Snow is likely to remain on the ground until Friday.
ATOKA, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says an Atoka woman was killed when her sport utility vehicle crashed into a tree that had fallen across the roadway near Atoka.
A report on the collision says 42-year-old Tinia Sorrells died at an Atoka hospital following the collision that occurred shortly before 5 a.m. Wednesday.
The report says Sorrells was southbound on the county road when her vehicle collided with the tree.
