DENISON, TX - Wednesday Sherman residents donated blood competing in the Battle of the Badges blood drive Thursday was Denison's turn.
The Texoma Regional Blood Center is collecting blood outside the Palazzo Event Center and Denison Police Department.
It's the first time the two cities are competing against each other.
Workers say the they're seeing a steady flow of donors as word of the competition gets out.
According to Melinda Diaz,"I think we've seen about 20 people. We're also taking donors at the blood center. And our new bus is just up the road at the police station."
