Black Friday tech deals

TEXAS & OKLAHOMA -- Many people probably aren't surprised to hear that tablets are topping the list this year for best tech deals.

The recent release of iPad mini and the Microsoft Surface tablet is exciting gift givers and receivers alike.

PC World says tablets are selling at regular retail price, but are being paired with gift cards.

Walmart is grouping iPad 2 with a $75 Walmart gift card for $399 on Black Friday.

What about another popular tech gift? HDTV.

Best Buy is advertising a Toshiba 40" LCD HDTV for $179.99.

Target's feature TV will cost you less -- $147 for an APEX 32" LCD HDTV.

Walmart is rivaling that with an Emerson 32" LCD HDTV for $148.

Don't forget digital cameras, e-readers, DVD players and game consoles.

Target lists a Nook simple touch for $49 dollars and a Nikon L310 for $99.99.

Walmart's selling the Wii for $89 dollars and an LG Blu-ray player for $38.

For your practical family member, Best Buy is offering a Samsung laptop with 4 gigabytes of memory and a 500 gigabyte hard drive for $349.95.

Examiner.com says Amazon, Walmart and Target typically have the best selection of tech items on Black Friday and the most in stock.

Examiner.com also says Best Buy has a good selection, but doesn't keep as many items in store.

Happy Shopping!
