Flash Flood Watches are posted through Monday morning for all of Texoma. The most concentrated rainfall is expected Saturday night into Sunday. Please be alert to floodwaters, washed out roads and rising creeks.
LEWISVILLE, Texas (AP) - Searchers have recovered the body of a North Texas man who disappeared in Lake Lewisville while trying to help a relative make it back to a boat.
Texas Parks and Wildlife Department officials on Wednesday located the body of 38-year-old Michael Quach of Melissa, who was missing since Father's Day.
Authorities say Quach was not wearing a life vest when he jumped into the water went under on Sunday afternoon. He while trying to assist a struggling relative who was wearing a life jacket but does not know how to swim and needed help getting back to the boat.
Quach's body was located just west of a marina.
