POTTSBORO, TX - After nearly two weeks, a tragic end to the search for 83-year-old Enoch Dixon. The Grayson County Sheriff's office says his body was found about a mile from his home.
"He was discovered by a volunteer that was out on a four wheeler," said Grayson County Sheriff Keith Gary.
Gary says the volunteer found Dixon's body around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon near his home on Flowing Wells Road, and there were no signs of foul play.
"The body was in very good shape, it had not been attacked by animals in any way," said Gary.
Dixon's cause of death is still under investigation but Dixon's family says he suffered from dementia.

Gary says crews searched in that area, but Dixon's body was not visible.
"The underbrush is this high so when he fell, the underbrush immediately fell on top of him," Gary said.
Friends say Dixon's family is distraught and heartbroken over the loss of their loved one, but relieved that the search is over.
"We are glad that we found him and we are glad that we found him the way he was," Raymond said."He's home with his wife now and he should be happy there."
Raymond says funeral arrangements are pending.
The Medical Examiner in Dallas is investigating Dixon's cause of death.
