SOUTHMAYD, TX -- Southmayd city officials say residents should no longer be experiencing low water pressure.
Public Works Director Sam Tuggle says they have replaced the pump to the main well and sent the old one off to be inspected. Tuggle says the well began losing pressure around 4:30 Friday afternoon. He says residents east of Gibbons Rd. were effected. Residents are still advised to boil their water as a precautionary measure.
