BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- Commissioners voted to reduce funding for the new jail for the remainder of this fiscal year.

Commissioner Monty Montgomery says they cut the jail personnel budget by more than $19,000.

They're moving that funding to pay for benefits for the jail staff, he said.

The sheriff's office will now have to cut jail employees, Montgomery said.

Commissioners will discuss the budget for the *next fiscal year in June.
