SULPHUR, OK -- If you planned on visiting the Chickasaw National Recreation Area, you may not be able to if a government shutdown occurs.
Dan Winings, the Public Information Officer, says the Chickasaw National Recreation Area will temporarily shut down the park and all facilities if a government shutdown should occur.
Winings says roads will still be open to drive through.
If Congress does not pass a bill by midnight tonight, hundreds of national parks across the country will be closed tomorrow morning.
Campers staying at the parks will be given 2 days to find other arrangements.
