PARIS, TX-- Two incentive agreements with Campbell Soup and the PEDC have been unanimously approved by the Paris City Council.
PEDC's Assistant Executive Director, Shannon Barrentine, says the incentives are $100,000 for a solar array and $500,000 for a single serve juice line that will be a $25 million dollar investment.
The juice line will bring in 50 new jobs and job retention.
Campbell Soup's Vice President of manufacturing says the company wouldn't be as successful without the support of the community.
"We've seen a lot of tremendous growth in our facility and quite frankly I have a very engaged and highly motivated workforce in the plant that we are all very proud of," said Ray Oldach.
The single serve juice line was brought to Paris from Campbell's Sacramento factory that was shut down. The line was recently installed and is currently in the testing phase.
