ANNA, TX - A car slammed into an Anna restaurant, landing on top of three customers this afternoon.

Anna Police Chief Kenneth Jenks says four people are in the hospital after the car landed inside "Mama Mia's Pizzeria" a little after 2 o'clock.

Jenks says the driver of the car lost control on 4th Street and crashed into a van before flying through the glass. He says the driver of the car and three people eating at the restaurant are all injured, at least one in critical condition.

Kim Peats says she was working inside the pizzeria when it happened.

" I was yelling, "Please move and get out of the way!" and they couldn't do it. The car ran and hit them," Peats said.

No names are being released at this time.
