GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- A popular and historic bridge along the Oklahoma - Texas state line is temporarily closed.

TXDot says Carpenters Bluff Bridge in will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until the 28th for a safety inspection. They say every four years they are required to check bridges that have steel members.

The bridge was built back in 1910 and since it is an older bridge TXDot says it is considered a high risk structure.

The inspection should be complete by 5 o'clock Wednesday evening.
