CARTER COUNTY, OK -- Carter county deputies are searching for a man who's been missing since Thursday and could be in danger.

Sheriff Milton Anthony says deputies got a call on April 3rd from Brandon Nichols' co-workers. They said he had been loading saltwater in his truck at an oil lease in rural Gene Autry.

But when they found his truck still running, Nichols was nowhere in sight. Anthony says deputies searched the surrounding wooded areas, but have had no luck so far.

Nichols is described as a white man, 5-feet 10-inches tall, weighs approximately 215 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, and around 32 years old.

Anthony says Nichols' shirt and cell phone were found at the scene but they have no leads as to where he could've gone or what may have happened to him.

"There's no signs in that area where there's any kind of a struggle or any foul play at all but we're looking into it as a missing person or an endangered person."

Sheriff Anthony says anyone with information about Nichols, or where he might be, should contact the sheriff's office at 580-223-6014.
