DICKSON, OK -- A major Carter County highway shut down this afternoon for about an hour after a truck pulled down a power line.
It happened on Highway 177 just north of Highway 199.
Dickson police say a truck carrying part of an oil rig was following a car with a pole measuring the height of the truck's load.
Officers say the car's pole touched the power line but it kept driving and the equipment on the truck pulled the line down.
No one was reported hurt.
No word yet on when the line will be fixed.
