Carter Co. Man charged with murder will go to trial

CARTER, COUNTY, OK--A carter county man charged with murder was back in court today. 35-year-old Tommy James Millsap appeared for his preliminary hearing, he is charged with first degree murder.

Millsap is accused of shooting and killing Toby Albin in March. Authorities said the two got into an argument at Millsap's house on Clover Lane and that is when they said Millsap got out a shotgun and fired on Albin.

Millsap is also charged with possession of meth and for being a felon with a gun. His bond remains at 1.5 million dollars. Court officials said there was enough evidence for him to go to trial which is set for August eighth.
