ARDMORE, OK--The Cash mob hit up another Ardmore business today, every month the mob selects a downtown business and members spend at least 20 dollars in cash there.

The movement is aimed at supporting local business and building community spirit. It was the third event organized by the Ardmore Main Street authority. Organizers said they hope more members join in on the fun.

The business of the month was JC Yeatts Furniture, the next event is scheduled for August 8th.

How could you possibly spend $20.00 in JC Yeatts anyway? They are the most expensive furniture place in town.

Wouldn't you rather just donate $20 to the Obama campaign than give it to these evil, rich business owners and job creators???

Good point. Besides, these people didn't build these businesses, the government did. Can't you people see that???

I see that you are probably one of those half-brain kooks who have fallen for the GOP lie that "small businesses" will be hurt by not extending the "temporary" Bush tax cuts for those making over $250,000.00. Just how many small business owners around here do you think are making that kind of profit? You would be lucky to find a dozen "small businesses" in a town the size of Ardmore, making that kind of money. Much less in any of the smaller towns in S.E. Okla. and north Texas. You can check the websites of any organization that promotes small business, and look up the average earnings of various small businesses and see that the vast majority earn less than $100,000.00 profit per year. But the Republican leaders know that stupid people won't look up these things because they WANT to believe what they are told. If it weren't for really dumb people, the GOP wouldn't survive.
