Change of venue hearing continued for Broken Bow man accused of child sex crimes

ANTLERS, OK -- A decision on a change of venue for a Broken Bow man accused of committing sex crimes against children has been continued according to his attorney.

A Pushmataha County judge listened to arguments Thursday morning that 31-year-old Thomas Bradley Porton could not receive a fair trial in McCurtain County.

Porton's attorney says the judge decided to continue the trial until February 27, 2013. Telling the defense they needed 3 signed witness statements saying Porton cannot get a fair trial in McCurtain County.

Porton's accused of more than 30 felony counts, the majority for committing sex crimes against children.

At least 6 teens have made accusations against Porton.
