City approves playground equipment for new Ardmore park

ARDMORE, OK - Ardmore city commissioners have approved the communities choice of equipment to be installed at a new park.

Residents living within a half mile the Southwest Park on Plainview Rd. voted on the design last week and presented it to the commissioners at Monday's meeting.

Parks and Recreation Director Kevin Boatright said the equipment includes an open air pavilion, two playgrounds and a swing set.

The total cost is $157,000 and the equipment should be installed by the end of October.
