ANTLERS, OK - A Pushmataha County high school teacher wanted by state investigators for having a sexual relationship with a student has turned herself in.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says Clayton High School teacher, 29-year-old Rhonda Michelle Ford, turned herself in yesterday.

A 15-year-old boy admitted to investigators he'd had sex with Ford on ten occasions at her home starting in February. Ford faces a dozen felonies including lewd molestation and rape.

She has resigned from her teaching position at Clayton Public Schools.

I have one question... Where were these teachers when I was in school? Mine were old grey-haired ladies. And to the 15 year old, a word of advice.... You will be a legend at that school. Don't worry about it.

Have many forgotten puberty? The unwanted and unexplained woodie? The female facination and curiosity? Is it not instinctive that a female fix what they seem to have caused? And with a degree of pleasure! Reality does not excuse. It does lay ground work for close observation of the young people. And some old people. The laws of nature are much more powerful than we care to admit. It is a long known fact that man cannot govern himself. He must appeal to and accept higher authority.

There is no mention of a victim or abuse. There is a violation of law. The boy was somehow, for some reason, and by someone, pressed to admit his "frequent" visits to Ms. Ford. No brainer here. She's got "legal" problems. At least he is free to persue or accept additional suitors. If he becomes governor, he can pardon her. Bet he's PO'd.

What is wrong with a 29 year old woman wanting to be with a 15 year old man? Teenagers are becoming sexually active at younger ages now days. Maybe it's a violation of her teaching contract with the school but if she wasn't a teacher I'd say go at it! Maybe men her age don't like her uneven tan or caked on makeup. A 15 year old boy is smart enough to not be picky about his suitors.

Teenagers are not becoming sexually active at younger ages now days. I'm old. I first became interested in girls at about 11. Had a teacher's aid make a move on me as a soph. At 17, a 15 yr. old female introduced me to sex. Thought I had died and gone to heaven. Married her at 20. Lasted 12 yrs and produced two beautiful children. She moved on to greener pastures! It was the most unpleasant experience of my life. The protocol for introduction to sex has no barriers. The best of circumstances has no guarantees. Living life is a little tough. Deal with it. Quit enableing victim mentality.

Okay, for kicks I'll give you that - maybe kids aren't becoming more sexually active at a younger age. Maybe it's always been that way. Not sure who is enabling victim mentality though. I simply believe that "the age of consent" is a bunch of bull and maybe the laws should be reevaluated.

This has become so commonplace that the outrage is deminished. It's a little obvious that penalties imposed against these teachers is not adequate to offset the temptation. Adultry was once a crime that carried the death penality. It didn't stop adultry. DWI laws are pretty strict. They haven't stopped DWI's. Is there a lesson here? It would be a pretty good place to live if it weren't for the people! Relax. Have a great day. Time is a great healer. There are better days ahead!

It is against the law for adults to have sex with children. Period. It is even a more offensive act when the adult is a person entrusted with authority over the care of the child. This is a good law and people who break it should be punished.

If that boy did want it he wouldn't have gone back 9 more time. So he wasn't raped or molested like some are saying.

What I thinks funny is how some people are saying he was molested or raped, in the article it says they had sexual relations at her house so in my opinion he chose to go over there and do what he did. also not being gender racist but its kinda hard to rape a guy unless she was super strong, and I have a hard time seeing that in her mug shot. We are not talking about a 5 year, he knew what he was getting himself into.

Minors are legally considered to be too young to consent. It could've been all his idea, but legally it doesn't matter. The legal adult is responsible.

well she should have known better to have sex with a 15 year old kid. if the boy was making moves to her she should have stop him. she has some issues big time. maybe with her doing some time she gets out of jail her face color wont be matching her jump suit. lol
