Click It or Ticket campaign a success in Paris

PARIS, TX-- Law enforcement is calling the Click It or Ticket campaign that kicked off in Paris last month a success.

The Paris Police department and the Texas Department of Transportation teamed up for the campaign that ran from May 20th until June 2nd.

After two weeks of surveying, results show about 91% of drivers were now wearing a seat belt, a 16% increase from before the campaign started.

The police department hopes the campaign had a positive impact on the citizens of Paris.
