Wednesday and Thursday are Weather Aware days due to the potential for locally heavy rainfall. Beware of flooded road-ways and never drive around barricades or into water more than six inches deep. High rainfall rates may reduce visibility and also increase the risk of hydroplaning. Turn around, don’t drown! Isolated strong thunderstorms may develop late Wednesday afternoon, but widespread severe weather does not appear to be likely at this time.
COOKE COUNTY, TX -- A Cooke County grand jury has issued capital murder indictments for three Gainesville residents accused of murdering a Dallas man.
Marcy Leigh Hunt, Fabian Cervantez and Dammond Johnson have been indicted in the murder of 44-year-old Alberto Gonzalez.
Gonzalez was found dead at the home he was remodeling on 700 block of North Taylor Street in Gainesville back in September.
Investigators say they believe Gonzalez was beaten to death and his vehicle was stolen from the scene.
