MARSHALL CO., OK-A fatal accident in Marshall County Monday night leaves a Sherman woman dead.

O.H.P. troopers said the accident happened around 4:30 Monday afternoon on Oklahoma University Road, just north of the Willis Bridge. Investigators said a group of siblings were driving home after Christmas shopping when the driver lost control of the SUV and hit a tree.

O.H.P. Lt. Allen Henry said 22-year-old passenger Alicia Sjahadi was pronounced dead at the scene, a second passenger was airlifted to a Plano hospital and the driver was taken to a Madill hospital.

"The vehicle had tried to negotiate a curve, dropped off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected and then rolled two times ejecting one passenger," he said.

Lt. Henry said the victim was not wearing a seatbelt. Both the driver and the other passenger have been treated and released.
