DOC workers pulled from Kingston

MADILL, OK - Oklahoma Department of Correction inmates have been pulled from their jobs in Kingston, according to a DOC assistant supervisor.

The DOC will not explain why but Oklahoma DOC Southeast Assistant District Supervisor Margaret Johnson said the department was made aware of a situtation that resulted in their decision to pull all inmate workers out of Kingston.

Johnson said they are still looking into the matter, but so far no legal action has been taken.

Madill Work Center Supervisor Jack Hallmark was not available for comment.
