ARDMORE, OK -- More jobs will soon open up in Ardmore thanks to the expansion of a major employer.
Dot foods announced Tuesday that it's starting a joint venture with a company called RJ Alimentos out of Mexico taking its food service redistribution concept abroad.
This will create 45 new jobs at the DOT facility in Ardmore.
Michael Ford with DOT Foods says, "This has nothing to do with moving jobs to Mexico. Everything that is in Ardmore are gonna stay in Ardmore. This is a forty five plus job growth opportunity for us. As a result of this we will hire another 30 drivers and another 15 or 20 warehouse employees."
DOT foods is actively interviewing for the positions opening in Ardmore.
