DENISON, TX - The Denison Fire Department will soon roll out a new piece of equipment.

Assistant Fire Chief Bill Ray says this new truck is a good morale boost and has more safety features including a better communication system and a bigger cab.

According to Chief Bill Ray, "it pumps a great deal more than the trucks we have now. It has two foam tanks on it versus the one we that have on the other trucks. It would carry two different types of class of foam, for different types of fires."

Ray says the truck cost around $370,000 dollars.
