Denison Police Dept. warns of scams

DENISON, TX -- Denison police say scammers could be targeting the elderly in Texoma.

They say these scammers offer home repairs and ask you to pay up front -- for what ends up being very poor work.

Just last week, we told you about a possible asphalt scam in the Whitewright area. If you're approached by someone offering construction services like driveway paving or roofing repair, get their business card and do some research to make sure the company is reputable.

If you think it's suspicious, contact police.
