DENISON, TX -- The Walmart in Denison was evacuated Saturday morning.
Police say they arrested 45-year-old Roy Fruen Jr., of Howe, for making terroristic threats in a public place.
Lt. Mike Eppler says around 11:25 a.m. Fruen was at the Woodforest National Bank, inside Walmart, when he began threatening to hurt himself and everyone around him.
"Store personnel started moving people away from the bank area at our request and did ultimately go ahead and just evacuate the store just as a general precaution. No one was ever hurt there was never a weapon produced," Eppler said.
Eppler says Fruen could face up to a year in jail in addition to a $4,000 dollar fine.
