Denison hosts Veteran's Day parade

DENISON, TX -- Dozens lined Denison's Main Street this morning for the Veteran's parade.

Denison's High School band played patriotic favorites, while local Veterans smiled and waved as onlookers saluted them.

One group, the Whitewright 4-H kids have been devoting time to learning about the American flag, and they had the honor of leading today's parade.

"Well, one thing we've learned is when someone walks by with the American flag, you need to put your hand over your heart and uncover to honor the flag. And not to tilt it down and drop it, and make sure its standing straight up and down," Caylan Vickers said.
