Denison library shut down for renovations

DENISON, TX -- The Denison library will shut down for renovations Monday until around mid-January but will be in a different location.

The temporary location will be at 306 West Main Street for about six weeks.

The Denison city council approved an additional $125,000 dollars for renovations to the library.

Library Director Alvin Bailey says they need more funding because they underestimated the cost of furniture replacement.
