DENISON,TX -- 100 new jobs are on the way to Denison as part of a new residential project.
Tuesday, city officials and community members broke ground on Woodlands Place; an assisted living center and rehab facility.
It will consist of 80 high-end extended stay rooms and 50 rooms for shorter stays.
Mayor Pro Tem Michael Baecht, says this project is all part of a plan to help Denison's growth.
"This is another one of our moving forward moments for us. We are excited to have the growth and the new opportunities for our citizens to be able to come to our community and live here with us and experience our way of life," said Baecht.
Construction is starting immediately. The project is set to be completed by mid-summer of next year.
