DENISON, TX -- Denison Police say they're looking for a man who fled during a traffic stop Monday afternoon.

After receiving a call about a possible drunk driver around 3:30 p.m., officers say they stopped a car at Hanna Street and Fannin Avenue.

Police say there were two men in the vehicle and when identifying them outside, one of them fled.

Denison K-9 officer William Deering said, "I came to the scene with the vehicle and we deployed the dog on the vehicle and then later we found an amount of narcotics inside the vehicle."

Police are not identifying the man who fled the scene, but say he is not considered armed and dangerous.

Authorities say they arrested the other suspect.
