Deputies searching for alleged shooter

CARTER COUNTY, OK - Carter County deputies are looking for an alleged shooter they believe could be in the Ardmore area.

Authorities believe 52-year-old Ashley Ray Williams fired a gun into the air while threatening a woman and her young son outside a Tatums residence Saturday morning.

No one was injured.

Williams is described as a black male, approximately 6'2" and weighing 200 pounds.

Deputies said he left the scene in a older brown Toyota Camry.

Court records show Williams has an extensive ciminal history in Carter and Garvin counties. Some of his charges include forgery and trafficking illegal drugs.
