DURANT, OK - A Calera man who robbed three Bryan County dollar stores last year is headed to prison.

56-year-old Charles Michael Trover pleaded no contest to three counts of robbery this spring. A district judge sentenced him to 22 years in prison Thursday.

Investigators say Trover first robbed the Dollar General in Caddo last September, then the store's Colbert location the next month, and then a Durant store a couple of weeks later. Police caught up to him and arrested Trover four days after his last heist.

I wonder how much he got from robbing 2 Dollar General stores? $43.67 and a roll of generic toilet paper? Not the brightest bulb in the lamp.

I don't know why he did this. Obama would have happily given him all of the benefits he wanted! It's not like he had to resort to working or anything cazy like that! Oh well, we pay for him either way.

My only question is...why does it take a year for someone like this to go to prison?
