Donations delivered to Denison family displaced after house fire

DENISON, TX -- A Denison family who lost everything in a house fire Tuesday morning has the basic necessities and will have gifts to open Christmas morning thanks to community members who stepped up to help.

Aimee Anderson says her family, including four children, all made it out of the house safely, but their home, and everything inside is a total loss.
Breena Dutton, owner of Posh Little Pig opened her store to collect donations for the family and in just about 12 hours generous Texomans brought in a whole pile of donations and about 700 dollars in cash.

Anderson says they are overwhelmed by the support.

"I appreciate everybody that's helping, you know, I appreciate everything. My mom does, the kids do and they're happy so I just thank everybody," Anderson said.

Anderson says they are still looking for a temporary place to live. If you know of a place you can contact her on her Facebook page at the link below.
