DURANT, OK -- Hot air balloons and planes took to the skies over Durant Saturday.

Hundreds of spectators lined up to see the show at the Durant Regional Airport. Activities end Saturday night at 8:30.

The family festival includes high speed aerobatics, music, food and much more.

"The mission of the air fest is to encourage young adults to become involved in aviation. So, we try to have a variety of aircraft at all times" owner and organizer, Debby Standerfer said.

Durant's Take to the Skies Air Fest attracts people from all across Oklahoma and North Texas.
