DURANT, OK -- A man accused of firing a gun at a vehicle in Durant last summer is headed to jail.
Authorities say, James Clifford Thomas was found guilty of reckless handling of a firearm in a non-jury trial.
They say last summer Thomas fired at a car in the street outside his home near North 2nd and Poplar.
Thomas was sentenced to six months in jail and all but ten days of that sentence was suspended.
