DURANT, OK -- A Durant man accused of killing a man while driving drunk down Highway 75 has been charged with murder.

Grayson County District Court records show 37-year-old Jerrod Eubanks was indicted this week on one count of murder and one count of intoxicated manslaughter among other charges.

Police say Eubanks was drunk when he slammed into another car while he was driving north in the southbound lanes of Highway 75 on December 2nd.

Amparo Cruz of Mesquite was killed when Eubanks' jeep hit him. Two passengers, one in each vehicle, were critically injured, but they survived.

Police say Eubank's has prior DWI convictions.

He's still in the Grayson County Jail.
