Employer honored for Durant job growth

DURANT, OK-A Texoma employer gets special recognition Friday for promoting job growth in Durant.

Texoma Manufacturing, LLC owner, Scott Crain, was honored by city officials and the Durant Industrial Authority for completing its first year of operation, growing from 8 to over 80 employees. Crain was awarded the chrome shovel from Mayor Jerry Tomlinson and a citation from the state of Oklahoma from state representatives, Josh Brecheen and Dustin Roberts.

"It's really nice to be recognized for not just what we've accomplished, but for our employees and for the customers that have shown faith in us. It's really neat to be honored in your hometown," said Crain.

Crain said he's looking to add up to 100 jobs in the next two years.
