BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- The former Silo Baseball coach, accused of hitting his student athletes with baseballs has been bound over for trial.
Roy West was in Bryan County Court for his preliminary hearing Wednesday, where the judge ruled there was enough evidence in the case to find probable cause.
Court officials say the hearing lasted all afternoon with several witnesses testifying in the case.
West was arrested last September after investigators say he struck players in the back, legs, arms, or torso with baseballs for inadequate performance.
The trial has been set for May 12th.
