SHERMAN, TX -- The man who robbed a bank inside a Sherman grocery store Monday afternoon is in custody.
The FBI confims the suspect is in custody, but won't say where, and cannot release his name because they say he's facing federal charges.
They say he will appear in court Wednesday.
The robbery happened at the Woodforest Bank inside Kroger, just before 5 p.m. Monday.
Police say a heavy-set black man, around 30 to 40 years old, walked up to the counter, passed a note to the bank teller stating he had a gun and demanding money.
Investigators say no one saw the weapon but the clerk gave the man the cash and he took off.
No one was hurt.
