Fatal pedestrian accident in McCurtain County

BROKEN BOW, OK - An Arkansas man is dead after being run over by a vehicle in McCurtain County early this morning.

Troopers said 22-year-old Zachary Garren Smith was lying in the center lane of highway 70 and 259 when a vehicle ran him over.

The accident happened just three miles south of Broken Bow around 3 a.m.

The driver and passenger of the vehicle were not injured.

Smith's body was taken to a funeral home in Broken Bow.

No word yet on why smith was laying in the middle of the road.

    Laying in the middle of teh road? Brilliant! this wasn't an accident, this was suicide.
