Feedback requested on Sherman flood plan

SHERMAN, TEXAS -- Sherman city leaders are asking residents for input on their new Flood Protection Plan.

Sherman was awarded funding to develop an enhanced flood plan through the Texas Water Development Board.

Tonight they're presenting a draft of that watershed management plan at 6 o'clock in the city council chambers, located at 220 W. Mulberry St.

This is a public meeting. Residents are encouraged to attend and give their feedback on how to better water runoff and drainage in order to minimize flooding.
