Fiery crash closes U.S. 75 in Anna for hours Wed. night

ANNA, TX- A fiery semi crash in Anna shut down U.S. Highway 75 south for hours Wednesday night.

Anna Police Sgt. Jeff Caponera said two semis were headed south on 75 around 5:15. One rig slowed down to exit on FM-455 and the other truck hit it from behind.

One of the drivers was flown to a Plano hospital with unknown injuries. The other was treated on the scene.

Highway 75 south reopened around midnight.
