Fire destroys Atoka County home

FARRIS, OK -- A fire destroyed a home in Farris, Oklahoma Saturday morning.

Farris Firefighters say the blaze started in a home on "Center Point Road" around 6:30 a.m.

Crews say no one was home at the time and no one was injured.

Several near by fire departments responded to the blaze. Firefighters say it took about five hours to put out.

Investigators are trying to figure out what started the fire.
