PARIS, TX-- A Paris home went up in flames Monday afternoon, but the resident inside managed to make it out safely.
It happened just before 3 P.M. in the 400 block of NE 5th Street.
Fire officials say when they arrived, flames were shooting out of the windows. It took them around 3 hours to clear the scene.
Fire officials say they haven't determined the cause of the fire, but do not think it's suspicious.
They say the home is a total loss.
