CHOCTAW COUNTY, OK -- Five Oklahoma residents were arrested on several charges after an infant tested positive for meth.

Officials say one of those arrests was local Hugo attorney John Bounds, who was arrested today for trafficking illegal drugs.

Four others were arrested Saturday, when authorities executed a search warrant and found 57 grams of meth at a home in the 1300 block of South 2nd Street. Additionally law enforcement say two children were located in the home during the search.

Hugo residents Kelly Hammack, Carney Hood and Randolph Short, and Robert Ashley of Rattan face charges ranging from child neglect to assault and battery of a police officer to drug charges.

The infant is in protective custody. Bounds has bonded out of jail, while the other four remain in custody.

Investigators say they expect more arrests.
